Kilkenny Circuit Court - Sittings Update - October 2020
Wednesday 07th October 2020
Terms & Sittings
1674 Days ago

Dear Colleagues

As you are aware, the civil and family law sittings of the Circuit Court in Kilkenny courthouse have now been filled to ensure efficient use of the sitting Judge's time while at the same time complying with the regulations in relation to Covid-19.
Practitioners and the parties to each case are reminded that strict adherence with social distancing is compulsory.

On each morning of the Circuit Court sitting in both family law and civil cases, the Judge will conduct a short callover of the cases that are listed for that day. ONLY the solicitor or barrister from each side of a case may attend this callover (or the actual party where they are not legally represented). ALL other persons (including witnesses, the represented parties, etc) must remain outside the court room and if possible out side the court building until their case is ready to commence.

Yours faithfully

James Seymour
County Registrar for Tipperary & Kilkenny
